The point of a compact hive is to make key positions difficult to access. Your base can contribute to that formation even when your personal squad is not a frontline damage dealer.
- Follow the alliance placement plan and tell an officer before moving from a critical position.
- Before logging off, follow your alliance’s shield policy and confirm the current event’s protection rules.
- If a position opens, report it promptly. Reinforce or reposition only when doing so supports the wider formation.

A formation is a coverage problem: the value of a base includes the route or landing space it denies, not only its combat power.
What is confirmed—and what isn’t
The archived images describe several distinct mummy and missile effects. Their shield exceptions and forced-relocation triggers have not been confirmed from official mechanics; no unconditional shield claim is repeated here.
